About the estate

The Bahna Braňo estate is located in Svätý Jur within the Small Carpathians wine region and is run by a geologist and winemaker. The vineyards are over 40 years old and situated on predominantly south-facing slopes with granitic, light sandy to stony soils. Farming follows an uncertified organic approach without the use of chemical sprays or herbicides. In the cellar, wines undergo spontaneous fermentation without commercial yeasts and with a minimal amount of added sulfur. The portfolio features typical regional grape varieties such as Müller-Thurgau, Grüner Veltliner, Welschriesling, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Blaufränkisch.

The eno directory lists 8 wines, mostly from Müller-Thurgau and Grüner Veltliner.
