About the estate
The family-owned Babarczi Szőlőbirtok és Pince was established in 1980 and is currently managed by the second generation of the family. Located in the Pannonhalma wine region in Hungary, the estate spans 65 hectares of vineyards primarily situated around the villages of Győrújbarát and Tényő. The core grape varieties consist of Rajnai rizling, Olaszrizling, and Müller-Thurgau, complemented by Irsai Olivér, Sauvignon blanc, Chardonnay, and Cserszegi fűszeres. Since 2002, the winery has focused on gentle grape processing and reductive winemaking techniques. A new estate center was established in Győrújbarát, providing facilities for both wine production and hospitality.
The eno directory lists 5 wines, mostly from Welschriesling and Müller-Thurgau.
