About the estate
The Hungarian winery TÓTHBORBIRTOK Pannonhalma is located in the historic Pannonhalmi Borvidék and was founded in 2012. Across a contiguous vineyard area planted with 45 percent red and 55 percent white grape varieties, the estate cultivates Kékfrankos, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Chardonnay, Rajnai Rizling, Sárgamuskotály, Szürkebarát, Sauvignon Blanc, and Furmint. The white wines are predominantly produced using reductive methods to emphasize a light and fruity character. Hungarian and special Burgundian oak barrels are also utilized for aging the premium white and red wines. A modern estate center was completed in 2023, enabling complete processing from harvested grapes to bottle filling.
