About the estate
The Cantina La Castellina looks back on a history in the Tuscan hills that began in the 17th century and is managed today by Alessio La Castellina. The estate cultivates native and international grape varieties such as Sangiovese, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Among its renowned products are the Chianti Classico Riserva as well as wines from the Chianti Classico DOCG and Toscana IGT denominations. During vinification, every phase from the harvest to aging in oak barrels is carefully carried out. The winery also offers visitors vineyard tours and guided wine tastings.
