About the estate

The Azienda Agricola Il Ponte estate was founded in 1988 in Capalbio in Tuscany when Cesare and Adelina purchased a rural property with the intention of utilizing the fertile Maremma land near the sea. Today, the family-run winery is managed by the founders alongside their sons and industry experts, having transitioned from supplying a cooperative to establishing an independent winemaking operation. The vineyards are situated in hilly, maritime locations on clay soils rich in skeleton and limestone. The portfolio features varieties such as Vermentino, Sangiovese, Ansonica, Aleatico, as well as international grapes like Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah, yielding still wines, passito, and sparkling wine.
