About the estate
The Armosa winery, located in the Sicilian municipality of Scicli, was established in 2002 with the intention of reviving traditional winemaking in the area. The estate cultivates approximately 4.9 hectares of vineyards, planted primarily with Nero d'Avola alongside a small portion of Moscato Bianco. Crop management focuses on achieving an optimal vegetative balance to harvest healthy, high-quality grapes. Harvesting is carried out entirely by hand during the coolest hours of the day, including careful selection in the vineyard. Vinification takes place in a renovated historic cellar equipped with temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and a barrel room for aging.
The eno directory lists 3 wines, mostly from Nero d'Avola and Muscat.
