Situated in the heart of Tuscany in San Gimignano, the Altezza Winery is led by Luciana Cilemmi. The history of the estate is deeply rooted in the Cilemmi family and values such as freedom, tradition, and respect for nature. At an altitude of nearly 400 meters, grape varieties like Vernaccia di San Gimignano and Sangiovese thrive on limestone and sandy soils. Integrated directly into the rock formation, the cellar utilizes natural conditions for aging wines in barriques, concrete vats, and large casks. These grapes yield distinctive wines including Chianti and Supertuscan.
