The Altes Schlößchen - Ludwig Schneider GmbH estate is located in Sankt Martin in the Palatinate region and is currently run by Markus and Ralf Schneider within the family. The foundation of the business was originally laid by Ludwig Schneider, who started out as a wine and wooden barrel cooper. Following the war, his sons expanded the enterprise with bottle marketing, while the current generation combines tradition with modern winemaking. The product range is structured into four quality categories and also includes fungus-resistant grape varieties as sustainable future vines. The winery is housed in a historic, listed timber-framed building dating from the late 16th century, which features an old vaulted cellar.

The eno directory lists 24 wines, mostly from Riesling and Pinot Gris. The estate sells to retail. Export markets include Netherlands, Belgium and Bulgaria.
