About the estate

The Altanza winery located in Fuenmayor in Rioja Alta was founded as a shared dream to produce one hundred percent Tempranillo wines with a modern touch. For this purpose, the estate planted its own vineyards, such as Valvarés, and has relied on French oak aging from the very beginning. The winery places a strong emphasis on sustainability, utilizing its own geothermal plant, recyclable packaging materials, and vegan winemaking methods. Furthermore, the estate offers visitors various wine tourism experiences set within a property surrounded by gardens.
