About the estate
The Hungarian winery Alasz pince is run as a third-generation family business managing 6.1 hectares of vineyards. The parents planted the first hectare in the Borsmonostori area in 1996, followed by further expansions in 2000 and 2008. Cultivated grape varieties primarily comprise Kékfrankos and Blauburger for the predominantly produced red wines, alongside Olaszrizling and Sárgamuskotály. In 2017, the family acquired an estate at the foot of the Kőszeg Mountains in the Pogány Valley to advance the revitalization of traditional viticultural areas. Vinification is largely carried out using modern reductive technology, with red wines fermented in closed systems and white wines utilizing chilled techniques.
The eno directory lists 6 wines, mostly from Kékfrankos and Blauburger.
