About the estate

The Adega Alán de Val winery was founded in 1993 by the Sánchez Rodríguez brothers in the Valdeorras region, building upon a family history in viticulture dating back to the 1920s. Since 2006, the estate has been located at the Pedrazais farm in A Rúa, working exclusively with grapes from its own vineyards. The estate's parcels feature clay-ferruginous and stony soils. The production focuses on the signature grape varieties of the Valdeorras denomination, Godello and Mencía, alongside other native varieties such as Garnacha Tintorera, Brancellao, Caíño, and Sousón. Today, the winery produces around 80,000 bottles annually.

The eno directory lists 4 wines, mostly from Godello and Mencía.
