Profilo dell'azienda
La proprietà, edificata nel 1704 dal conte von Ostein, si trova lungo l'Elsterbach a Geisenheim nel Rheingau. Intorno al il 1800 il mulino passò a Christian Ostern ed è di proprietà della famiglia Daniel dal 1869. Dopo una fase agricola con allevamento di bestiame, alla fine degli anni ottanta del ventesimo secolo l'azienda si è dedicata interamente alla viticoltura. Situata tra Johannisberg e il monastero di Marienthal, l'azienda Weingut Ostermühle produce oggi vini del Rheingau. Oltre alla vendita di vino, la famiglia gestisce anche una taverna stagionale.
