Le domaine Christian Fischer GmbH est situé à Sooß, dans la Thermenregion, et cultive des vignes sur les douces pentes sud-est du Soosser Lindkogel, au-dessus de la forêt viennoise. Les sols riches en terre brune, caractérisés par une forte teneur en calcaire conchylien, constituent la base des raisins du domaine. Ce terroir particulier et les conditions climatiques sont très similaires à ceux de la Bourgogne française, raison pour laquelle la région est souvent surnommée la Bourgogne de l'Autriche. Les conditions de sol minérales offrent les conditions préalables idéales pour la production de vins rouges frais et élégants.
