Le domaine Avignonesi a été fondé à Montepulciano dans les années 1970 et appartient aujourd'hui à la famille Saverys. Il s'étend sur plus de 300 hectares de vignobles entre Montepulciano et Cortona, cultivés entièrement selon des principes biologiques et biodynamiques. La vinification a lieu dans la cave de Lodola, où chaque parcelle est vinifiée séparément afin de préserver son caractère individuel. La production comprend des vins des appellations Rosso di Montepulciano DOC, Toscana IGT et Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG. Selon le vin, le processus d'élevage utilise des amphores, des cuves en acier inoxydable, des œufs en béton, des barriques, de grands fûts et des caratelli.
L'annuaire eno recense 14 vins, principalement issus de Sangiovese et Merlot.
