Über den Betrieb
Das Weingut Avignonesi wurde in den 1970er Jahren in Montepulciano gegründet und gehört heute der Familie Saverys. Es erstreckt sich über eine Rebfläche von mehr als 300 Hektar zwischen Montepulciano und Cortona, wobei die Weinberge vollständig biologisch und biodynamisch bewirtschaftet werden. Die Vinifikation findet im Keller in Lodola statt, wo jede Parzelle separat ausgebaut wird, um ihre Identität zu bewahren. Das Sortiment umfasst unter anderem Weine der Denominationen Rosso di Montepulciano DOC, Toscana IGT und Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG. Für den Ausbau kommen je nach Charge Amphoren, Edelstahltanks, Beton-Eier, Barriques, große Fässer und Caratelli zum Einsatz.
Im eno-Verzeichnis sind 14 Weine erfasst, überwiegend aus Sangiovese und Merlot.
