Über den Betrieb
Das historische Weingut Castello Di Coiano in der Toskana blickt auf eine lange Geschichte zurück, die bis in etruskische und römische Zeiten reicht und im späten 19. Jahrhundert unter der Führung von Gräfin Carlotta modernisiert wurde. Ende der 1980er Jahre wurde das Anwesen von Franco Maestrelli übernommen, der das Potenzial der Region neu entdeckte und umfassend restaurierte. Im Jahr 2000 stellte der Betrieb von Fasswein auf Flaschenabfüllung um und erweitert seither kontinuierlich sein Portfolio. Mittlerweile wird das Unternehmen in dritter Generation geführt und umfasst vier Standorte, wobei Coiano das administrative und vinifizierende Zentrum bildet.
Im eno-Verzeichnis sind 16 Weine erfasst, überwiegend aus Sangiovese und Trebbiano.
