Über den Betrieb
Das Weingut Az. Colombaio ist seit 1897 ein fester Bestandteil der lokalen Landwirtschaft in Monteriggioni in der Toskana. Auf einer Gesamtfläche von über 70 Hektar bewirtschaftet der Betrieb 17 Hektar Rebfläche sowie Olivenhaine. Die Produktion konzentriert sich unter der Leitung eines Enologen auf den traditionellen Sangiovese, der zu Weinen wie Chianti Classico verarbeitet wird. Neben dem Weinbau umfasst das Angebot des Anwesens auch Unterkünfte in einem Agriturismo sowie Weinproben und Besichtigungen.
Im eno-Verzeichnis sind 9 Weine erfasst, überwiegend aus Sangiovese und Merlot.
