About the estate
The Zirmerhof estate in Aldino in South Tyrol cultivates vineyards situated on a prehistoric glacial hill. Sepp Perwanger established what is described as Europe's highest winery at an altitude of 1,560 meters, following in the footsteps of his grandfather. The family-owned vineyards include parcels of Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir Riserva near Glen. The origins of the historic farm property date back to the twelfth century.
The eno directory lists 3 wines, mostly from Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer.
