About the estate

The Zehentner estate is a family-run winery located in Illmitz near Lake Neusiedl, managed by Theresa and Franz Zehentner in the third generation. The vineyard area is divided into 60 percent red and 40 percent white grape varieties, which are cultivated with great dedication on the regional soils. The traditional yet innovative working method combines careful vineyard management with skilful vinification in the cellar. Franz Zehentner is responsible for production from vineyard work to product development, while Theresa Zehentner manages international contacts and exports thanks to her language skills. The portfolio includes wines ranging from red to white and from sweet to crisp.
