About the estate
The Wine Babos estate manages seven hectares of vineyards located in the Hrvatska Istra region. The vines grow on red soils on plateaus near the sea and at altitudes between 100 and 140 meters, influenced by a Mediterranean climate. The grape variety portfolio includes Malvazija Istarska, Teran, Muškat Bijeli, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Muškat Ruža. Harvesting is performed traditionally by hand to ensure that only fully ripe grapes are processed. The portfolio features various typical wines and sparkling wines from the southern part of the region.
