The Wijngoed Mariëndaal estate is situated on a south-facing slope between Arnhem and Oosterbeek on the edge of the Veluwezoom. Viticulture on this historic property dates back to the Middle Ages and has returned following a cold period that halted production for centuries. The unique and diverse terroir of the Veluwse stuwwal provides the foundation for growing wine at this location. The winery is organized as a non-profit foundation and includes several vineyards, such as the vineyard belonging to the Landgoed Hotel & Restaurant Groot Warnsborn. Additionally, the estate offers vine adoption programs in cooperation with businesses and enthusiasts.
