About the estate

Located in Hamme in the Waasland region, the Wijndomein Mira estate cultivates two hectares of vineyards along the banks of the Oude Durme. Winemaker and film director Matthias Temmermans grows modern grape varieties such as Souvignier Gris, Solaris, Johanniter, Bianca, Regent, Léon Millot, Rondo, and Muscaris. The portfolio includes accessible white, rosé, and sparkling wines produced via the traditional method, all characterized by distinctive mineral and floral notes. The naming convention of the wines reflects the winemaker's film background, telling a new story with each vintage. The estate also offers guided tours of the vineyard and vinification facilities.
