The Wijndomein Joris estate is located in Slenaken in the Dutch province of Limburg and was founded in 2008. The vineyards are situated at an altitude of 250 meters near the border of the Belgian Voerstreek. Cultivated grape varieties include traditional types such as Pinot Noir and Chardonnay alongside modern PIWI varieties like Regent, Johanniter, and Solaris. These fungus-resistant varieties enable sustainable cultivation with minimal chemical treatments suited to the cooler Northern European climate. Under the Dutch Mountains label, the winery produces characterful wines including Johanniter and Solaris, alongside vineyard accommodation facilities.
