About the estate
The Wijngoed Thorn estate was founded in 2001 in the historic town of Thorn and currently cultivates a vineyard area of nine hectares. The vineyards are situated on an old branch of the Meuse river and feature soils composed of clay and sand. The area belongs to the driest regions in the Benelux countries and benefits from numerous hours of sunshine per year. The portfolio of the winery, operating under the protected designation of origin Maasvallei Limburg BOB, includes various white, red, and sparkling wines.
