About the estate
The Wijndomein Hoogstraten estate in Minderhout was founded in 2015 with the planting of the first vines by the Depauw-Kamoen and Schrijvers-Delcroix families. The vineyards are situated on diluvial sandy soils in the Kempen region and cultivate grape varieties such as Johanniter, Solaris, and Muscaris. To protect the soil against erosion, grass strips are planted between the vine rows and grazed by sheep during the winter rest period. The portfolio includes dry white wines, Muscaris specialties, and sparkling wines carrying the protected designation of origin Vlaamse Mousserende Kwaliteitswijn BOB.
The eno directory lists 7 wines, mostly from Muscaris and Johanniter. The estate sells to horeca.
