About the estate
The Wicker Pince winery has been operating since 2016, following the Swabian viticultural traditions of Hajós. The wines are produced in a historic cellar located on Borbíró Street in the Hajós cellar village, which has been owned by the family for more than 250 years. The portfolio includes major international varieties alongside grape types characteristic of Hungary and the Hajós-Baja wine region, such as Cserszegi Fűszeres, Kövidinka, Chardonnay, Kékfrankos, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The wines are aged in the local cellar tunnels at constant temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees. The family has been cultivating its vineyards in the Hajós-Baja wine region since the late 18th century.
The eno directory lists 6 wines, mostly from Cserszegi Fűszeres and Kövidinka.
