About the estate
The Wöhrwag estate cultivates around 20 hectares of vineyards in Stuttgart, which includes the Untertürkheimer Herzogenberg monopole site. The vineyards are characterized by gypsum-keuper soil that gives the wines powerful fruit and structure. Work in the vineyard and cellar focuses on close-to-nature cultivation, patience for fully matured grapes, artisanal processing, and the preservation of grape quality. The wines are defined by their origin and classified according to the VDP classification. The assortment includes Riesling, Trollinger, Lemberger, and Merlot, among others.
The eno directory lists 11 wines, mostly from Riesling and Schiava. The estate sells to retail.
