About the estate

The Weingut Uwe Geßner estate located in Garstadt am Main was founded in 1981 by grandfather Ferd Geßner as a part-time operation and today cultivates around 20 hectares of vineyards. The winery is run as a family business, with son Marco having joined the operation to take responsibility for cellar management. Vineyard management is close to nature and dispenses with the use of herbicides. The portfolio comprises traditional Franconia grape varieties vinified into estate, local, and single-vineyard wines as well as sparkling wines.
