About the estate
The Thomas Fritzen winery on the Moselle is run by the family in the seventh generation and looks back on a two-hundred-year tradition of winemaking. The estate relies on sustainable and environmentally friendly agriculture following the principles of its ancestors, combined with minimal intervention in the cellar. The most important grape variety is Riesling, which is cultivated in steep sites such as Honigberg, Sonnenuhr, and Paulinsberg. The portfolio is complemented by Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris, which thrive on the rocky soils of the region. All wines are produced vegan and without the use of herbicides or animal-derived fining agents.
