About the estate
The Stephan Steinmetz winery located in Palzem has been led by Stephan Steinmetz since 1992 and has evolved into a family project. In the southern Moselle region, exclusively Elbling and Pinot varieties thrive on Muschelkalk soils. The estate relies on traditional manual labor in the vineyards as well as a natural and sustainable approach in the cellar. The wines mature on their lees for an extended period and are bottled with natural cork. A special specialty of the estate includes uncompromisingly dry white wines as well as white and rosé Crémants.
