About the estate

Located in Leiwen along the Moselle valley, the Weingut Rules-Rosch estate looks back on a long family tradition in viticulture and was founded in 1947 by Josef Rules. The winery cultivates steep vineyards with deep blue slate soils, primarily situated in sites such as the Köwericher Laurentiuslay and Leiwener Klostergarten. The portfolio focuses entirely on Riesling, yielding dry, off-dry, and fruity-sweet wines as well as traditional method sparkling wine. The environmentally conscious approach involves extensive manual labor in the steep vineyards and the hand-harvesting of all grapes.
