About the estate
The Knapp estate has been cultivating 6 hectares of vineyards for several generations in the valley basin of Miltenberg between the Odenwald and Spessart regions. The vineyards extend across the Miltenberger Steingrübler and Bürgstadter Centgrafenberg sites, which are characterized by weathered red sandstone soils with varying clay content. Farming in the steep terraced plots of the Miltenberger Steingrübler site is carried out largely by hand. The winery focuses on environmentally conscious viticulture and produces lively white wines as well as robust red wines such as Pinot Noir and Riesling.
