About the estate
The Herbert Steffes winery cultivates Riesling as well as Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir in the steep slate vineyards of the region. The wines originate from the estate's own vineyards and are fermented one hundred percent spontaneously in stainless steel tanks. The portfolio includes dry to fruity wines as well as a classically hand-riddled Riesling Sekt Brut. Vinification is carried out in a natural, mineral, and clear style until bottle maturity.
