About the estate
The Hartmetz estate looks back on a winemaking tradition spanning over 300 years in the Palatinate region. The winery is currently run by Alexander Hartmetz together with his parents Hans-Joachim and Heike. Their responsibilities are clearly divided, with Alexander overseeing the oenological side of operations. The estate manages a vineyard area of 7.5 hectares. For cultivation, the family relies on close-to-nature winegrowing with greened vine rows.
