About the estate
The H. Ulmann winery looks back on a long family history that began in the Markgräflerland region in 1715. After the Second World War, the family returned to Staufen and now cultivates a vineyard area of over seven hectares. The estate is unique in holding significant vineyard possessions in both the Markgräflerland region and at the Kaiserstuhl. The wines mature in a historic wooden barrel cellar dating from around 1600. The grape variety portfolio includes traditional Gutedel, among others.
