About the estate

The Graf Hardegg estate is part of the renowned Gut Hardegg enterprise in Seefeld-Kadolz and centers around a historic cellar dating back to 1640. All vineyards have been farmed under controlled organic-biological management since 2006 to strengthen soil quality and enhance biodiversity. In the cellar, the winery prefers traditional methods without excessive technology and ages many wines in large wooden casks. The local climate favors the cultivation of grape varieties such as Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Pinot Noir, and Viognier, yielding vibrant, spicy, and refined wines. Additionally, the estate operates a sparkling wine manufacture within its labyrinthine cellar tunnels.
