About the estate
The Weingut Gerhard Erbenich estate is managed by three generations and cultivates around eleven hectares of vineyards in Gau-Bickelheim in the heart of Rheinhessen. The regional soils consist of calcareous layers, loess, and heavy clay soils, which together with a variety of grape varieties form the basis for the wines produced. The portfolio includes various white wines ranging from sweet to dry as well as red wines. In addition to winemaking, the winery also offers wine tastings, wagon rides through the vineyards, and motorhome pitches for visitors.
