About the estate

The family-run Carlsfelsen estate is situated in the southern Wine Moselle region and is managed by winemakers Armand and Fabian Frank alongside Katharina Frank, with a family history in winemaking dating back to the 18th century. Covering a vineyard area of 9 hectares, the winery cultivates various sites such as the Palzemer Carlsfelsen, the Wehrer Rosenberg steep slope, and the Nenniger Schlossberg. The focus lies on grape varieties of the Pinot family as well as the regional variety Elbling, thriving on soils composed of shell limestone. The geological characteristics of the ancient Paris Basin shape the terroir and impart the wines with their characteristic minerality. The estate produces and distributes its wines independently.

The eno directory lists 6 wines. The estate sells to horeca.
