About the estate

The Arenz estate looks back on a long family tradition on the Moselle and is run today by Stefan, Sandra and their family. On a vineyard area of 1.5 hectares, the winery cultivates wines in the top sites Trittenheimer Apotheke and Trittenheimer Altärchen. The steep slopes are characterized by blue slate, which gives the wines a distinctive minerality. Work in the vineyard is carried out by traditional manual labor, complemented by selective hand-harvesting of the grapes. In the cellar, the wines mature through spontaneous fermentation with wild yeasts in stainless steel tanks and oak barrels.

The eno directory lists 14 wines, mostly from Riesling and Müller-Thurgau. The estate sells to retail.
