About the estate
The Wāina estate in Etoy in the Vaud region of Switzerland was founded by Laurie Leuba, who launched her own brand after working for various wine estates. The name derives from the Maori word for wine as a tribute to New Zealand, where the winemaker spent a formative period. Production includes wines from the AOC La Côte and AOC Vaud appellations, featuring varieties such as Chasselas and Merlot. In the cellar, the winery relies on modern and respectful methods while valuing the local organic terroir. A distinctive feature of the brand is its contemporary round labels divided into quadrants.
The eno directory lists 7 wines, mostly from Merlot and Chasselas.
