About the estate
The Vinogradništvo, KMETIJA REŠKIČEVI winery manages around 10000 vines, with the Refošk variety accounting for 70 percent, yielding the Teran wine. The portfolio is complemented by Cabernet Sauvignon, Malvazija, and Vitovska grganja. Due to its climatic conditions, the Karst region provides ideal conditions for the traditional production of Teran using an old classical method. Following a maceration period of about one week to ten days, the wine matures in oak barrels as well as in barriques and stainless steel tanks.
