About the estate
The VÍNO Z KOBYLÍ - PATRIA Kobylí, a.s. estate cultivates 170 hectares of vineyards in the Velkopavlovická wine subregion of southeastern Moravia. Viticulture in Kobylí has an eight-hundred-year history, benefiting from sunny slopes facing southeast and southwest. Traditional varieties such as Frankovka, Tramín červený, Svatovavřinecké, and Modrý Portugal are grown on these sites. The portfolio is complemented by established varieties including Veltlínské zelené, Ryzlink rýnský, Pálava, and Rulandské modré. A unique microclimate and favorable vineyard locations allow the grapes to mature fully and yield wines with distinct character.
The eno directory lists 26 wines, mostly from Cabernet Moravia and Grüner Veltliner. Export markets include Slovakia.
