About the estate
The Víno Šimonovič winery was founded in 2009 by Ing. Daniel Šimonovič in Modra, in the heart of the Malokarpatská wine region, building upon a long family tradition. Following his studies at Mendel University in Brno and practical experience at a leading Slovak winery, he took over the family vineyards and production facilities. Today, the estate manages a vineyard area of approximately four hectares in collaboration with his father. Traditional grape varieties such as Grüner Veltliner and Müller-Thurgau, alongside various Pinot varieties, thrive in the vineyards around Modra.
