About the estate
The family-run Víno Kmeťo winery in Modra has been writing its history since 1989. The grapes are cultivated in exclusively owned vineyards, from which nearly 30,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. The portfolio includes traditional grape varieties as well as Slovak new crossings and PIWI varieties. Tastings take place in a cellar with a cozy tasting room, where the younger generation of winemakers from the Kmeťo family welcomes visitors.
