About the estate
The Slovak winery Víno Hladký is located in Skalica and builds upon a multi-generational family tradition in viticulture rooted in the local region. In 2007, the family acquired a two-hectare plot of land in the Vysoké pole area that had remained uncultivated for decades, providing an ideal, chemical-free foundation for new vineyards. Today, the estate focuses exclusively on cultivating fungus-resistant PIWI grape varieties, maintaining a sustainable approach without synthetic herbicides or pesticides. Through careful observation and traditional management, the winery produces distinct vintage wines from these interspecific grape varieties.
