About the estate
The Vinárstvo Križan estate looks back on a family history that began in 1930 when great-grandfather Rudolf Križan acquired land and planted the first vines. In the following years, he built the wine cellar as well as adjacent rooms for production and gatherings. The winery is now managed in the fourth generation and operates as a small family winery. Grape varieties such as Pesecká leánka, Grüner Veltliner, Blaufränkisch, Othelo, and Concordia are cultivated in the estate-owned vineyard. The wines are produced exclusively from grapes grown by the family itself.
The eno directory lists 5 wines, mostly from Pesecká Leánka and Grüner Veltliner.
