About the estate

The Czech winery Vinařství pod Radobýlem is situated on the southern and southwestern slopes of the Radobýl hill near Litoměřice, representing one of the northernmost wine-growing locations in Bohemia. The vineyards lie at altitudes between 170 and 290 meters above sea level on clay-loam soils with basalt and opuka subsoil near the Elbe river. The estate practices gentle cultivation in accordance with integrated production methods and relies on manual harvesting of the grapes. Processing utilizes modern technology, including stainless steel tanks for fresh white and rosé wines as well as larger oak barrels for complex red wines. The portfolio features grape varieties such as Ryzlink rýnský, Rulandské bílé, Rulandské šedé, and Pinot Noir.
