About the estate

The Vinařství Melchrt estate is a family winery founded by Drahoslav Melchrt in 1998, while the family's winemaking history dates back to the mid-1950s. Over time, the vineyards were gradually renewed and expanded, which also broadened the variety of offered grape cultivars. Since 2010, the winery has focused mainly on the production of bottled wines derived mostly from its own grape yields. The wine is produced using traditional methods supported by modern technology in the cellar located in the wine cellar village of Nechory within the municipality of Prušánky in the Morava region. The portfolio comprises various white and red grape varieties such as Souvignier Gris, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, and Blaufränkisch.
