About the estate

The Czech family winery Vinařství Baláž is based in Dolní Dunajovice within the Mikulov wine subregion and the Morava denomination. Most of the vineyards are located in the Mikulov area, where the estate produces an annual volume of 50,000 to 60,000 bottles of wine. The focus lies primarily on white grape varieties such as Welschriesling, Pinot Blanc, and Riesling, which are complemented by red varieties like Pinot Noir and Blaufränkisch. In production, the estate combines traditional origin with modern technologies, offering various wine series such as the Klassik collection and the premium Tannowitz line.
