About the estate

The Vinarija Tonković estate was founded in 2006 in the north of Bačka as a family winery dedicated to preserving the regional wine culture. The vineyards are cultivated on sandy soils with a primary focus on reviving and producing wines from the Kadarka grape variety. Inside the winery, which is built into a sand dune, all operations including pressing are performed manually, and maturation takes place in 300-liter Hungarian oak barrels. The portfolio features distinct styles such as a white wine made from dark grapes, a fruit-forward rosé, and elegant, structured red wines.
